Through a strategic partnership with HealthPlus Amerigroup, one of the largest Medicaid Managed Care companies in NYS, SinglePoint will, pending approval by the NYS Department of Health, become the delegated care manager for many of the members of HealthPlus/Amerigroups's managed long term care plan.

SinglePoint will coordinate and manage the care and delivery of services to eligible enrollees through the application of tools assessing client needs for long term care services and by actively managing appropriate long term care.

Stuart C. Kaplan, CEO, Selfhelp and Gail Magaliff, CEO, FEGS, noted that "SinglePoint, a joint venture between our respective organizations, will be positioned in the marketplace to be on the cutting edge of transformative changes that are occurring in the healthcare market and will leverage their organizations' combined 150 years experience working with seniors and those with chronic medical conditions to coordinate high quality, patient-focused care in an environment requiring increased cost efficiencies. We will lead at this time of change while remaining committed to our historic missions. Our strategic partnership with HealthPlus Amerigroup will create a gateway for assisting the diverse communities of seniors and others with chronic medical conditions in NYC and the broader surrounding areas to access the critical services they need to live in good health at home and benefit from other needed healthcare and community supports."

Bob Wychulis, CEO of HealthPlus Amerigroup commented that FEGS and Selfhelp are two well established organizations with significant knowledge of the New York community and an understanding of the needs of those requiring long term care.  "Through our partnership with SinglePoint," Wychulis noted, "HealthPlus Amerigroup, a market leader, will significantly expand our capacity to deliver high quality care management services to this population and the emerging dual eligible market."

In addition to providing state of the art care management services, SinglePoint has formed an Independent Practice Association (IPA). The IPA will focus on developing a broad network of home health care and other service providers throughout the metropolitan New York area and Long Island to deliver a range of essential services to seniors and others with chronic medical conditions. The IPA will also provide management and other shared infrastructure services to providers who join the SinglePoint IPA network.
