This strategic agreement with Volpara Software will provide Sectra customers an objective way to standardize breast density assessment, seamlessly integrated into their clinical workflow.

"Adding powerful software solutions to our Breast Imaging PACS will allow our users to maximize their mammography investment by providing all necessary tools on one workstation," says Mikael Anden, president of Sectra in North America.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS is a web-based, multi-modality workstation featuring advanced diagnostic tools, including integrated CAD and reporting, that offers a single-system reading environment for mammographers.  All digital breast images, even breast tomosynthesis, regardless of modality vendor, are automatically displayed in the same size with correct orientation and alignment, facilitating comparison of current and prior images.
