ScripHessco Releases How Chiropractic Care Helps Sports Injuries

ScripHessco has announced the release of their most recent infographic: How Chiropractic Care Helps Sports Injuries. The infographic breaks down ways that chiropractors can help heal sports injuries and get athletes on the path to a quicker, healthier recovery.

According to ScripHessco “Athletes have an unusual amount of pressure and stress on their bodies, so checkups to maintain proper alignment are necessary even for athletes that are not yet injured. Many exercise physiologists believe that approximately 90% of world-class athletes are using chiropractic care to prevent injuries and increase their performance.”

The infographic lists the most common sports injuries, such as plantar fasciitis and back strains, and their causes.

It also lists stats and facts about chiropractic care in the sports industry. According to the graphic, “Over 70% of PGA golfers are receiving some type of chiropractic care, as 90% of those injuries involve either the neck or the back.”
