ScanMed QR Wins Cox Business and Inc. Magazine "Get Started OKC" Pitch Contest

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ScanMed QR took top honors Tuesday night at the Oklahoma History Center in Get Started OKC (#GetStartedOKC) - Cox Business and Inc. Magazine's first-ever pitch contest designed to support local entrepreneurship and business innovation.   Earning top marks for originality, ease of implementation and benefit to the community, ScanMed QR received a $5,000 Cox Business technology makeover.

While the official winner of the pitch competition has been named, there's still time to crown the People's Choice winner.  The top eight business pitches are featured on for people to vote online.  The winner of the People's Choice will receive a profile on Cox Business' social destination, BLUE, and one-on-one consulting time with Phil Busey , one of the evening's judges and Oklahoma City serial entrepreneur.

The People's Choice voting will close March 12 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.  The pitch with the most votes will be crowned the People's Choice winner.
