Date:11/28/2018

Satin Fine Foods, a manufacturer of cake decorating products based in The Hudson Valley NY, presented a donation of $2,400 to Hudson Valley Honor Flight on Sept 28th, 2018 at the HVNY office in Walden NY.

The proceeds were generated from a recent sales incentive campaign and presented to HVHF by Kevin O’Reilly, Founder and CEO of Satin Fine Foods, Inc.

“Giving back is an essential part of our mission and culture,” said Kevin O’Reilly. “Since our company was founded in 2001, Satin Fine Foods has always dedicated our resources to supporting local, national and global charities. Hudson Valley Honor Flight is right in our back yard and supports a wonderfully generous cause”.

Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) is a local nonprofit based in Walden which honors Hudson Valley area veterans for all their sacrifices by bringing them to Washington, D.C. to visit their respective war memorials at no cost to them. HVHF is also the local hub of the National Honor Flight Network, which has more than 100 independent nonprofit “hubs” nationwide.

“You can be sure we will put your donation to good use!” said Jennifer DeFrancesco, Executive Director of HVHF. “It really is an honor and a privilege to be able to do what we do for these heroes.”

October 6th, 2018 marked mission #21 for HVHF. The flight departed New York Stewart International Airport in New Windsor and escorted veterans on an all-expense paid trip to our nation’s war memorials. Veterans traveled by police escort bus convoy while in D.C. for the daylong trip.

“Satin Fine Foods is honored to have contributed to such a special cause,” said Jeff Caron, Director of Global Sales, Satin Fine Foods. “This donation to HVHF helps give our American veterans the acknowledgement they deserve for their selfless sacrifices.”

HVHF continues its fundraising efforts all year long to help make the trips for the American heroes a reality. For more information on HVHF and how you can help please visit http://www.hvhonorflight.com
