Date:11/9/2012

DUBLIN, Ohio, Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sarnova, Inc., the nation's leading specialty distributor of healthcare products in the emergency medical services (EMS) and acute care markets, has launched Curaplex®, a private label brand that offers everyday healthcare products tailored to the specific needs of clinicians. The Curaplex portfolio includes products and solutions for emergency care, acute care and long-term care.

Through high service levels, national distribution and multi-faceted market integration, Curaplex is designed to streamline the procurement of specialty healthcare products throughout the continuum of care. "We are working to serve our customers even better as the healthcare industry evolves," said Jeff Prestel, president of Sarnova. "The Curaplex brand is designed to help our customers better balance their spending with products that offer the right quality and value."

Curaplex is distributed and supported by Sarnova's major companies: Bound Tree Medical, Emergency Medical Products, Inc. (EMP) and Tri-anim Health Services, Inc. Bound Tree and EMP support pre-hospital, EMS products, while Tri-anim supports respiratory, anesthesia and critical care products.

The Curaplex 2013 Healthcare Product Portfolio was officially released in November 2012. The catalog features respiratory, anesthesia and critical care products that are distributed through Tri-anim. Sarnova also launched the Curaplex website (www.curaplex.com) in November, which provides inclusive information about products throughout the continuum of care.

"Our priority at Sarnova is to help healthcare providers improve patient outcomes with effective treatment," said Tim Rubert, vice president of private label and business development at Sarnova. "Curaplex products meet the everyday needs of providers and patients with an ever expanding portfolio of products and continuous quality improvement."
