San Antonio's Texas Institute of Dermatology, Laser and Cosmetics Adds Alma Lasers Harmony XL Cosmetic Laser to Offer Advanced Rejuvenation Treatments to Patients

SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Institute of Dermatology, Laser and Cosmetics is now offering Alma Lasers AFT™ treatments to South Texas residents including San Antonio and Boerne area to treat superficial vascular and pigmented irregularities and to improve skin color.

About Dr. Ghohestani

Dr. Ghohestani specializes in Diseases of Skin, Hair and Nails as well as in Cosmetic Dermatology and Derm Surgery.  He has spent over a decade in basic dermatology research as a principal investigator.  His outstanding work and dedication to excellence has earned him numerous honors and peer recognitions, including: America Skin Association Career Award, Dermatology Foundation Career Award, Charles Grupper Prize by the French Society of Dermatology, Stelwagon Award for Best Publication by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Commitment to Professionalism by the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Dr. Ghohestani is a former Chief and Associate Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX and an editor of European Journal of Dermatology.  He completed his internship in Surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's first hospital, and went on to complete his Residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University.  Dr. Ghohestani obtained a Master's Degree in Skin Pharmacology and Cosmetology and Ph.D. in Skin immunobiology from Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France.
