LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Laboratory Supply Company (LABSCO), the largest privately held supplier of diagnostic instrumentation and clinical laboratory products to hospitals, physician office laboratories, reference labs and other non-acute care settings in the United States, has appointed healthcare industry veteran Rod Wolford to its board of directors.

"Rod joins our board during an incredible time of growth and opportunity, and we are honored to have him," says Steve Nielsen, LABSCO chairman and chief executive officer. "Rod is a seasoned healthcare leader with more than 40 years of wide-ranging experience in the industry, and we look forward to his contributions to Company strategy and growth plans."
