Dr. DeVito will highlight RX-04 in a presentation titled "Using Structure-Based Discovery to Define Novel Antibiotics Targeting the 50S Ribosomal Subunit." RX-04 is Rib-X's de novo design of three completely new series of antibacterials showing promising activity against serious multidrug resistant Gram-negative pathogens, including, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumanii and Escherichia coli.
