Date:7/14/2015

MADISON, Wis., July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Restore Health, a company specializing in personalized medicine, announced today that its specialty pharmacy division is in the process of seeking accreditation from URAC, a Washington, D.C.-based healthcare accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the healthcare industry.

URAC's Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation provides an external validation of excellence in Specialty Pharmacy Management and provides Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) oriented processes that improve operations and enhance compliance. It also helps to assist in preparing for regulatory compliance.

"Restore actively seeks the validation of organizations such as URAC to examine our systems, processes, and performance to ensure that we consistently strive to meet national standards of quality," said Murray I. Firestone, Ph.D., President of Restore Health.

The URAC accreditation process demonstrates a commitment to quality services and serves as a framework to improve business processes through benchmarking organizations against nationally recognized standards.

"Restore Health should be commended for its decision to be reviewed under URAC's strict quality standards," said URAC President and CEO Kylanne Green. "It is critically important for healthcare organizations to make a commitment to quality and accountability."
