Radisphere Adds Fifth Kentucky Hospital
Date:1/3/2011

CLEVELAND, Jan. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Radisphere National Radiology Group, a leading, national full-service radiology interpretations provider, has added Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center of Leitchfield, KY to its four other clients in the state.  Radisphere will provide a combination of on-site and remote interpretation services as well as full night-time radiology coverage, all with final interpretations.

"One of the biggest benefits that Radisphere is able to deliver to Twin Lakes is the depth of their staff experience.  They have a broad panel of subspecialists to cover every type of study we perform," said Stephen Meredith, CEO of Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.  "This will allow us to deliver higher level of service because each patient's imaging study will be interpreted by a radiologist with the expertise and training best suited to interpret that study and with the utmost care and attention to detail."

"The situation at Twin Lakes is common among community hospitals, which have traditionally faced obstacles when it comes to attracting and retaining radiology staff," said Dr. Peter Franklin, co-founder of Radisphere and chairman of radiology. "Our goal is to provide a higher level of service to these hospitals by providing access to a specialized team of highly regarded radiologists across the U.S. in addition to the on-site team.  The hospital will also reap the benefits of receiving full final reads after hours, consistent reporting and an integrated critical findings result management solution.  All of these services will help Twin Lakes meet their objective to improve the quality of life for the people they serve," added Franklin.

About Radisphere Radisphere National Radiology Group leads the industry in exceptional radiology professional services to community hospitals. Radisphere is a comprehensive on-site and off-site provider that,
