RPS ernennt Dr. med. Jonathan M. Fishbein zum Executive Vice President und Chief Medical Officer

FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania, 13. November 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (RPS) teilte heute mit, es habe Dr. med. Jonathan M. Fishbein zum Executive Vice President und Chief Medical Officer ernannt. RPS ist ein modernes Institut für Auftragsforschung, das umfassende globale Lösungen für klinische Studien der Phasen I bis IV für die Biopharmaindustrie und Hersteller medizinischer Geräte anbietet,

In seiner neuen Rolle wird Dr. Fishbein die Verantwortung für die Leitung und strategische Ausrichtung der Abteilungen für Medizin, Sicherheit und medizinische Publikationen übernehmen. Dr. Fishbein verfügt über große Erfahrung in der Planung und Umsetzung klinischer Studien auf vielen therapeutischen Gebieten.

Dr. Fishbein stößt zu RPS, nachdem er zuletzt in verschiedenen medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Funktionen als Vice President für ICON Clinical Research tätig war.

Dr. Fishbein blickt auf über 20 Jahre Erfahrung in der klinischen Forschung und der Grundlagenforschung zurück. Dabei war er in der Auftragsforschung, im öffentlichen Sektor, an Hochschulen und für gemeinnützige Organisationen tätig. Vor seiner Tätigkeit für ICON war er zugleich Special Assistant des stellvertretenden Direktors am nationalen Institut für Allergien und ansteckende Krankheiten (NIAID) und Senior Fellow am internationalen Zentrum für Frauenforschung. Zuvor war er innerhalb der AIDS-Abteilung des NIAID der erste Direktor der Abteilung strategische Ausrichtung der klinischen Forschung (OPCRO). In dieser Rolle setzte Dr. Fishbein die Konformität mit Verordnungen, Richtlinien und Strategien durch, um sicherzustellen, dass die mit Bundesmitteln geförderte klinische AIDS- bzw. HIV-Forschung gängigen Qualitäts-, Integritäts- und Ethikstandards entspricht, so dass die Sicherheit, Legalität
