RBELL Medical Launching Free Program to Provide Aesthetic Treatments to Nation's Combat Wounded Veterans

CHICAGO, Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RBELL Medical, maker of The CleoPen aesthetic device, is proud to announce a program to give back to combat wounded veterans. The CleoPen has proven effective in delivering a variety of aesthetic treatments, including scar revision. With so many veterans bearing the physical scars of combat and an overextended VA Hospital system, RBELL Medical's program is sorely needed.

"This issue is close to my heart," explains RBELL Medical CEO Rebecca Bell. "I'm not a Democrat or a Republican – I'm an American. I believe it's my responsibility to show our veterans the gratitude and respect they deserve. Providing free, rejuvenating aesthetic treatments with The CleoPen feels like the least I can do."

Joining Bell for this program is Dr. Steven Rath, owner and medical director of Fusion Medical Spa in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Dr. Rath served his country with distinction as a helicopter crew chief in the U.S. Army Aviation Brigade. As a member of the Texas Army National Guard, he held the roles of anesthesiologist, field surgeon and flight surgeon. Dr. Rath has committed himself to staying at the forefront of aesthetic medicine; he currently works  with Dr. Charles Runnels as a certified trainer of the highly sought-after Vampire Facelift™ and Vampire Breast Lift™.

"We are blessed to work with a physician of Dr. Rath's caliber," adds Bell. "Together, we'll be able to make significant improvements in the quality of life for our nations wounded veterans."

According to Forbes, the number of service men and women who experienced non-fatal injuries in Iraq or Afghanistan surpassed one million some time ago. At least 900 of those injuries were severe burns. Thousands more suffered trauma from IEDs and other blasts. While the mental scars of war can linger indefinitely, RBELL Medical's The CleoPen can go a long way toward healing the physical scars.

The CleoPen has been a breakthrough device in the area of regenerative medicine, including scar treatment and fine line reduction. The device incorporates several cutting-edge aesthetic treatments. First and foremost, The CleoPen has been utilized by physicians for collagen induction therapy, a method to encourage the skin to repair itself from the inside out. Users of the device can also add platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, a new and promising type of regenerative, aesthetic medicine that incorporates the patient's own blood as a dermal filling agent. The CleoPen's unique ability to perform micro-pigmentation will allow physicians to camouflage scars to complete the revision process.

In the short time since its introduction, The CleoPen has already distinguished itself as a versatile, safe option for physicians who want to provide the very best in aesthetic treatments. The obvious advantage of The CleoPen is that it motivates the body's own repair mechanisms to kick into high gear. Both collagen induction therapy and PRP have virtually zero risk of side effects.

Through mutually beneficial partnerships with physicians across the country, RBELL Medical helps practices build new revenue streams and establish reputations as leaders in regenerative and aesthetic medicine. In each of these partnerships, RBELL Medical emphasizes exceptional customer service, product quality, educational/technical training and operational excellence. The company's ultimate priority is the safety and protection of its providers' patients.
