Professor Vishnu Chaturvedi of New York, USA Gives a Lecture at West China Hospital of Sichuan University

CHENGDU, China, April 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- At the invitation of the Laboratory of Medicine of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Mr.Vishnu Chaturvedi, the expert from the New York State Department of Health, the Professor of the Albany Medical College, USA, and also the Editor in Chief of the Magazine Mycopathologia, recently gave a lecture to the faculty and the students of the Laboratory of Medicine on the topic of the 'Future of Fungal Identification'.

In the speech, Professor Vishnu Chaturvedi elaborated on the present situation and the progress underway on fungal infection, followed by a lively discussion with the audience about the drug-resistance of fungal biofilm, fungal susceptibility testing and other issues.
