Prodigy Diabetes Care, LLC Sponsors First 'Manufacturing Makes It Real Tour'

MT. HOLLY, N.C., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Prodigy Diabetes Care, LLC, a high-tech manufacturer of blood glucose management supplies, is a proud bronze-level sponsor of the "Manufacturing Makes It Real Tour." Prodigy® participated in the rally at the Mt. Holly location of National Gypsum, a local manufacturer of wallboard and finishing products.  

Around noon, a busload of business and political leaders throughout North Carolina, along with a large variety of "Made in NC" products arrived at the Mt. Holly tour stop. Representatives from Prodigy® gave a speech before a room full of local manufacturers and government officials, which included Prodigy's future plans, upcoming product releases, and our devotion to North Carolina manufacturing.

The "Manufacturing Makes It Real Tour" is a week-long journey around the state to call attention to the high quality and competitive spirit of North Carolina manufacturers. The Industrial Extension Service at North Carolina State University is conducting the tour. All of the goods received by local manufacturers at each stop of the tour will be shown to Governor Perdue and state leaders, October 1st in Raleigh, NC. Governor Perdue recently proclaimed the week of September 27th-October 1st the "Manufacturing Makes it Real" week.
