Press Ganey Releases Enhanced Improvement Portal with Customized Performance Reports
Date:8/6/2012

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Press Ganey Associates, Inc. today announced an enhancement to its Improvement PortalSM (patent pending), an online platform that health care organizations utilize to understand and measure performance improvement. The upgrades help users quickly access actionable data through Quick Reports, a simple, intuitive approach to selecting and monitoring the most relevant patient satisfaction metrics. Specifically, users can create up to 30 different reports to view trending, side-by-side performance comparisons, aligned improvement resources and improvement opportunities on their Improvement Portal home page. The update became available to users on August 1.

"We know that patient satisfaction improvement most often occurs at the local level – so it is critical for health care professionals and leaders across the organization to have information easily available in order to drive improvement," said Deirdre Mylod, Senior Vice President, Research & Analytics. "Quick Reports are not only simple to set up and review regularly, they're uniquely designed to pinpoint relevant data that can lead to meaningful change. The goal behind Quick Reports, and the Improvement Portal in general, is to easily and effectively give users a way to identify targeted, actionable insights."

The Improvement Portal enables an organization to gain real-time insight into current performance and provides immediate access to best-in-class improvement resources. Improvement Portal reports provide relevant views of an organization's performance, and allow users to set targets and see benchmarking based on the largest real-time HCAHPS and patient satisfaction database in the country.
