PolyOne is displaying the components this week at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East exhibition being held at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Using PolyOne's Trilliant™ Healthcare Radiation Shielding Compound, Siemens was able to design and produce components with radiation shielding performance equal to lead while reducing component costs compared to traditional metal and lead parts.
