Plainfield Precision Achieves ISO 13485:2003 Quality Management Certification for Medical Device Manufacturing

IRVINE, Calif., July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Plainfield Precision, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, announced today that it has earned the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) 13485:2003 certification for their "plastic injection molding, metal stamping, assembly and manufacturing of medical devices". Plainfield Precision's certified quality management system produces the highest quality products and components for its clients based on the stringent requirements set by ISO 13485:2003. The certification cover's Plainfield Precision's facilities in Plymouth Massachusetts, Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin and the Dominican Republic.

Plainfield Precision's review was completed by NQA (http://www.nqa-usa.com/), one of the largest and most respected ISO registrants in the world.
