Pinnacle Biologics dépose une nouvelle indication pharmaceutique en Allemagne et en France

AMSTERDAM et BANNOCKBURN, Illinois, 5 décembre 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinnacle Biologics, BV. A annoncé qu'elle avait déposé une variation pharmaceutique nationale auprès des administrations sanitaires allemande et française, respectivement l'Institut fédéral allemand pour les médicaments et les dispositifs médicaux et l'Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé, pour la thérapie photodynamique (PDT) au PHOTOFRIN® (porfimère sodique) pour le traitement des cholangiocarcinomes hilaires avancés (CCA) non résécables. Pinnacle est également une société de technologie biopharmaceutique qui élabore et fabrique de nouveaux traitements pour les maladies oncologiques et les maladies rares.

Le cholangiocarcinome hilaire avancé CCA (tumeur de Klatskin) proposé dans l'indication ci-dessus est une sous-catégorie de cancers rares au niveau de la convergence des canaux hépatiques gauche et droit [1].
