Physicians' Capital Investments, Physicians' Capital Markets, and EDGE Realty Capital Markets announce a new strategic initiative
Date:8/21/2012

DALLAS, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Physicians' Capital Investments, LLC (PCI), a leader in medical real estate development and medical investment solutions, Physicians' Capital Markets, LLC (PCM), a leader in innovative capital formation solutions, are pleased to announce a strategic initiative with EDGE Realty Capital Markets (EDGE-CM), experts in property disposition.

"Although PCI's goal is to have practices and physicians own their medical facilities," said Pedro Juan Vergne-Morell, CEO of PCI. "At times, they may need to monetize their existing real estate holdings via an asset sale. This could be the result of retiring physicians who wish to cash-out their real estate holdings in order to fund their retirement, or practices which may need to convert the locked-in value (equity) of their existing real estate into cash (liquidity) in order to leverage the equity for future growth opportunities."

In today's turbulent investment market, PCI's turnkey medical development and investment solutions offer an appealing model that's timed perfectly for today's financially constrained yet growing healthcare industry.

"PCI helps practices and physicians afford their new development via the disposition of an existing asset," Vergne-Morell explained. "By entering into a strategic initiative with the EDGE-CM team, we (PCI and PCM), will be complementing each other's business models perfectly and we couldn't be happier."

The feeling is mutual – "PCI and PCM have an ideal team and strategic business models in place and I am excited that EDGE-CM can provide the right solution through this relationship.  We will leverage our investment sales platform to generate national exposure and efficiently create a competitive market for the appropriate assets," said Steven M. Smith, Executive Vice President of EDGE-CM.
