Phreesia Unveils New Tool to Help Clinicians Document the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit

NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning in 2011, those covered by Medicare Part B are now entitled to an annual exam focused on defining and implementing a personalized prevention plan. Phreesia, the patient check-in company, has released a new application that helps physicians document the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit (AWV), maximizing productivity and ensuring accurate and efficient reimbursement. Phreesia's electronic Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Form—the first such electronic form presented to patients during check-in—saves clinicians an average of 15 minutes of paperwork per patient, and allows them to spend more time interacting directly with patients.
