Date:11/19/2013

NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pharmspective LLC has launched an elearning platform for key stakeholders impacted by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  This digital learning solution addresses the overwhelming need for comprehensive training related to the many facets of the ACA. Pharmspective provides knowledge management applications to the pharmaceutical industry that include a comprehensive suite of Affordable Care Act research and training solutions.

"Our goal in creating these E-Modules is to build a best-in-class approach to filling the ACA education gap that Healthcare Decision-Makers have told us they are facing," said Stephen Reid, Managing Partner and leader of Pharmspective's Healthcare Reform practice. "We believe our integrated solution bridges the divide between what the ACA means and what its implications are for key stakeholders impacted by its ongoing implementation."

The E-modules, available on PC and iPad, divide the ACA into 9 topic areas covering the following:State Exchanges

Medicaid ExpansionDisease Management/Public HealthInsurer Business Practices

MedicareOutcomesEmployers

Essential BenefitsPharma Business PracticesEach E-Module is reinforced with a diagnostic Q & A that ensures retention of key concepts.  The modules reflect the most current status of all of the ACA changes and the digital platform allows for content updates that are necessary as ongoing changes to ACA implementation occur.

"The turnkey nature of this digital training platform will provide immediate access to a solution that prepares healthcare organizations for the evolving ACA landscape," stated Reid.  "The absence of a cohesive explanation of the ACA is a major challenge for healthcare organizations, providers, and patients and a challenge that Pharmspective will address with additional innovative solutions to be announced in the near future."

Healthcare companies can contact Pharmspective at info@pharmspective.com and 314-812-2729 Ext. 1003 to schedule a consult about implementing the elearning platform within their organizations.
