Pediatric Hair Solutions Providing Advanced Medical Solution for the Treatment of Head Lice to the Youngstown-Pittsburgh Metro Area
Date:9/3/2014

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pediatric Hair Solutions, a medically owned and operated head lice treatment company announced today that they are launching their first mobile head lice treatment center in the Youngstown-Pittsburgh metro area.  The goal of the new mobile facility is to raise the standard of care for the treatment of head lice by bringing the treatment directly to clients – be it a school, workplace, or even a client's own home. Plans to develop operations in the Youngstown-Pittsburgh area were initiated due to the increase in the number of head lice cases in the United States.

The treatment center will be the company's first mobile location in the region. Pediatric Hair Solutions offers its clients exclusive mobile treatment with the FDA cleared Air Alle medical device, which is extremely effective and safe, free of harmful chemicals or toxins. This treatment option has been clinically tested and proven to be 99.2% effective in one study and 100% effective in a second study. Treatments are covered under flexible spending accounts and there is a medical director available to write letters of medical necessity if required.

"The opening of Pediatric Hair Solutions' new Youngstown-Pittsburgh mobile unit is an important step towards realizing our goal of providing the most effective, safest and highest quality medical care for head lice in the communities that we serve," say's Jacqueline McCann, Director of Community Outreach. "We treated over 5,000 families last year and all were successfully treated the first time whether they used our medical device treatment or our home package."

Pediatric Hair Solutions was founded in December of 2010 by Sheila and Dr. John Fassler. Sheila, an RN, saw the need for a better solution to the problem of head lice treatment while working as a substitute school nurse. The company now has 9 locations in four states. They are consistently recommended by many pediatric practices and school nurses. You can learn more about the treatment process and about Pediatric Hair Solutions by visiting its website at http://pediatrichairsolutions.com or read a client testimonial.

Discounted head checks are offered by appointment on Mondays and Fridays.
