Date:7/5/2012

DURHAM, N.C., July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The hassles, bottlenecks and errors that come with estimating upfront pricing for patients, securing pre-authorized payments and reconciling it all once a claim has been settled is now dramatically reduced, if not eliminated, by the newest enhancement to the PatientPay(SM),  online service from Zepherella™, a provider of paperless billing and electronic payment processing for the healthcare industry.

A recent survey by consulting firm Towers Watson and the National Business Group on Health, a nonprofit alliance of large companies, found that 70 percent of large companies plan to offer high-deductible insurance by 2013 along with accounts that allow patients to buy medical services with pretax dollars, often funded by their employers.  Of the responding firms, 20 percent noted high-deductible coverage will be the only option next year.
