Patient Advocate Jim Donachie To Appear On h360 Live

NEW YORK, June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Donachie, a US Marine Corps veteran and professional patient advocate with Discount Drug Network and AllyHealth, will discuss both discount drug prescriptions and telemedicine solutions on the next edition of h360 Live, to be webcast on Tuesday, June 16 at 1 PM EDT on the healtheo360 web site,

Co-hosted by Dave Duplay, founder, president and CEO of healtheo360, and Courtland Long, MPH, h360 Live embodies the ethos of the healtheo360 mission, which is to serve as a social media "caring network" where patients living with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, cancer, mental illness, COPD and Alzheimer's disease, come to find support, encouragement and information.

Donachie, Duplay and Long will discuss patient support issues, with a particular emphasis on how Discount Drug Network's free discount prescription cards, accepted at 99% of pharmacies in the U.S., can help patients to save up to 85% on all FDA approved prescription medication, even if the cardholder already has insurance.  With over four billion prescriptions being filled annually, there is a vital need and demand for affordable prescriptions.

Donachie will also inform Duplay and his healtheo360 audience about telemedicine, which saves time, increases productivity and offers unlimited monthly access for typically less than the co-pay for one doctor visit.  MDLIVE, the telemedicine offering by AllyHealth, offers individual and family plans which allow for 24/7/365 consultations via a nationwide network of board certified physicians.

"I look forward to discussing both discount prescriptions and telemedicine on h360 Live," said Donachie.  "These topics are especially relevant, not only to patients with chronic conditions, but also to their caregivers, family members and friends, all of whom are also seeking support."
