Date:5/18/2010

DURHAM, N.C., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Parata Systems announced the promotion of two key executives, Jay Blandford and Andy Snow.

Blandford has been named executive vice president, Sales. Blandford joined Parata in 2003, and has served in a variety of leadership roles in Marketing and Sales. In his new capacity, he will build upon the sales process he spearheaded, which helped position the company for sustained, double-digit sales growth and as the leading provider in pharmacy automation.

Andy Snow has been named executive vice president, Engineering and Product Development. Snow joined Parata in 2002, and has led the field service organization since its inception. His front-line perspective on customer experience will strengthen Parata's customer focus across sustaining and product-development engineering. Snow also brings an engineering background and 13 years of pharmacy automation experience to his new role.

"We are pleased to advance leaders with such outstanding track records as these two executives," Jess Eberdt, CEO, said. "These changes position our company to continue its strong growth, so Parata may expand its commitment to deliver technology solutions that 'put our customers out in front.'"
