PaperFree Pharmacy Generation 3 Hits the Market
Date:11/20/2013

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Security MicroImaging announced today the third generation release of PaperFree Pharmacy (PFP), a document and process management solution designed specifically for closed door and specialty pharmacies.

"We are very excited about the third generation product release of PaperFree Pharmacy. We've worked closely with our customers to enhance PFP with the product features that have the most impact on their current business process challenges and it's revolutionizing the way they're doing business. There isn't another product on the market today with the innovation and technology we've built into PaperFree Pharmacy," said Joe Rezell, Security MicroImaging's executive vice president and product lead for PFP.

PaperFree Pharmacy's numerous enhancements include an exclusive audit tool designed to improve audit response times. With a simple click of the mouse all content required for an audit or appeal are automatically fetched and assembled into a single response document – ready for distribution. Other enhancements include a completely redesigned user interface, as well as the EPRD™ (Electronic Prescription Replacement Document) – a feature that enables users to compile accurate and searchable electronic records for every pharmacy order regardless of how the order is received.

Security MicroImaging has partnered with SoftWriters, Inc. to build a direct integration with their pharmacy management solution, FrameworkLTC. "Our partnership with SoftWriters strengthens the PFP product," explains Rezell. "Just having two strong systems isn't enough. Having two strong systems that talk to each other – this is an essential component of creating more efficient business processes."

Significant advances in technology makes PaperFree Pharmacy the most comprehensive document management suite available on the market today. From the initial receipt of order, to the delivery confirmation, to the audit – PaperFree Pharmacy enables long term care pharmacies to streamline business processes, helping to reduce risk, save money and increase efficiency.
