Date:3/29/2011

RALEIGH, N.C., March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PRA International, a leading Clinical Research Organization, announces that two of our operational experts will conduct country-focused roundtable sessions at the 4th Annual BioPharma Asia Convention being held in Singapore 28-31 March 2011. PRA will also host an exhibit at booth A01.

Day two of the convention will feature interactive roundtables exploring drug development concerns in six key Asian countries. PRA's Dr. Yooni Kim, Senior Manager of Clinical Operations, will lead the South Korea roundtable, while Dr. Pramod Kabra, Director of Clinical Operations, will conduct the India session. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with the hosts and gain further insight into country-specific innovations, policies and strategies.

Dr. Kim, based in PRA's Seoul office, has over 10 years of clinical research experience with major pharmaceutical companies and as a researcher at the Seoul National University Hospital Clinical Trial Center. She also serves on the advisory task force at KFDA, South Korea's regulatory authority.

Working from PRA's office in Mumbai, Dr. Kabra has nearly 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries, including clinical practice, bioequivalence and Phase I - IV studies. He has coordinated and monitored approximately 100 clinical studies across various therapeutic areas.

Additional PRA representatives from our Clinical Operations and Business Development groups will be available to discuss our capabilities in Asia and successful approach to drug development. Since 2008, PRA has participated in more than 115 studies in the region, and we have been strategically expanding our presence there for more than a decade.
