The annual awards honor the inventors and engineers for extraordinary innovation, hard work and effectiveness at solving clinical problems for patients with spine disease.
Winners were recognized at a gala awards banquet held in Orlando, Florida on October 4, 2010. Nearly 44 entries were submitted representing several hundred inventors and engineers. The award winners were selected by a blue ribbon panel of judges selected from the leading orthopedic hospitals and institutions in the United States on the basis of their innovation and clinical relevance.
