Orthopaedic Synergy Inc. meldet bedeutenden Zuwachs im Vorstand

EAST TAUNTON, Massachusetts, 21. Mai 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Der Vorstand der Orthopaedic Synergy Inc. („OSI"), die die Firmen OMNIlife science® Inc., Enztec Ltd. und Praxim SA zu ihren Tochtergesellschaften zählt, hat zwei neue, erfahrene Mitglieder in die Führungsriege gewählt. Guy Mayer , eine erfahrene Führungspersönlichkeit aus der Orthopädie, wird die Position des Vorstandsvorsitzenden übernehmen. David Johnson , anerkannter Experte für medizinische Geräte, verstärkt die  Führungsriege als neues Vorstandsmitglied.

Mayer war vor seiner Tätigkeit als Vorstandsvorsitzender bei der OSI Präsident und CEO der Firma Ascension Orthopedics Inc., bis diese von der Integra Life Science Holdings Corporation übernommen wurde. Als Präsident, CEO und Direktor der Tutogen Medical Inc. war Mayer zuvor maßgeblich an der Veräußerung der Tutogen an die RTI Biologics Inc. beteiligt. Mayer war vorher außerdem Präsident und CEO verschiedener anderer bekannter Pharma- und Orthopädieunternehmen. So war er etwa Präsident der Global Products Group bei Zimmer. Derzeit ist Mayer zudem Vorstandsmitglied der Pivot Medical Inc.
