Open Door Family Medical Centers Named Top Community Health Center in Nation for Use of Information Technology

ess than 12% are presently eligible to achieve this advanced standing.  For 38 years Open Door has served a multi-cultural community  providing top quality medical, dental care and social services to the  community, particularly the economically disadvantaged. Over 92 percent of Open Door's patients have incomes at or below the 200 percent federal poverty line and more than 55 percent have no health insurance. Open Door is a Joint Commission accredited health center with four centers in Ossining, Port Chester, Mt. Kisco and Sleepy Hollow and five School-Based Health Centers in Port Chester. In 2009, over 40,000 patients were treated at Open Door, making nearly 170,000 patient visits.
