Online Registration Opens for OMG! Cancer Summit

NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Online registration is now open for the 5th annual OMG! Cancer Summit for Young Adults (OMG2012). Hosted by The I'm Too Young For This! Cancer Foundation (i[2]y), the nation's largest support community for young adults affected by cancer, OMG2012 will be held March 30 – April 1 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Attendees can register online at

This year's theme is "Let's Make History" to celebrate the historical significance of it's 5-year anniversary and the significant social footprint it has made in oncology industry. Topics will include careers after cancer, caring for caregivers, sex and relationships, employment and insurance issues, newly diagnosed 101 and more will provide key insight, education and support to young adults facing cancer.

"For the fifth year in a row, OMG2012 will bring together the young adult cancer community to learn, share, connect and live," said Matthew Zachary, Founder and CEO of i[2]y and young adult cancer survivor. "We are pioneering this space for the next generation of young adult affected by cancer. OMG2012 is going against the grain of traditional patient conferences to change the world."

For the first time, i[2]y launched an aggressive community fundraising campaign in conjunction with OMG2012 called the OMG! Players Club, a unique twist on established systems that allow attendees to earn up to $600 in travel reimbursement by reaching certain fiscal milestones, with the highest earners also winning iPods, iPads and even a Macbook Air.

OMG2012 is the premiere oncology conference and social networking meet-up event inspiring thousands of survivors, caregivers and providers–along with scores of academic, advocacy, research and support organizations–to get organized, build community and unite as one to give voice to–and drive change for the next generation. OMG2012 is aimed at young adult patients and survivors, their caregivers, advocates and medical professionals who work with those facing young adult cancer issues.
