Onda Marks 250th AIMS Shipment

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Onda Corporation, the global leader in ultrasound measurements, announced today that it shipped its 250th AIMS shipment.  The latest generation hydrophone scanning system, the AIMS III with Soniq v.5.1 software, automatically maps the acoustic fields of ultrasonic devices.  The hallmark unit shipped to DJO Global, a world leader in providing intelligent medical devices and services.  The AIMS III will be used to test and control the acoustic properties of physiotherapy ultrasonic devices.

Mr. Tony Allen, Senior Vice President of Operations at DJO Global, comments, "We continue to invest in our measurement capability to ensure our ultrasound transducers are consistent in their performance and safety.  The measurement requirements for physiotherapy devices are complex, and we consider the partnership we have with Onda as a critical piece to this success."

"As a metrology company, Onda is committed to delivering the highest quality instruments to the ultrasound community," says Dr. Sam Howard, CTO and an expert in the regulatory community.  He comments further, "Much of our success is attributed to the continuous support from our customers.  Understanding their measurement needs is what shapes our products, such as the AIMS III, into what they are today."
