Nutrilys Del Mar Joins Health Forces With LAPD Underwater Dive Unit
Date:4/20/2012

SAN DIEGO, April 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Nutrilys Del Mar, a marine-based daily supplement program based in San Diego, has partnered with the Los Angeles Police Department Underwater Dive Unit to help boost their nutritional armor. Nutrilys Del Mar founder, Thierry Lerond, journeyed to Los Angeles to speak with the 35 member dive team, while helping them handpick the world's best organic, natural supplements.

Lerond was delighted to receive a prestigious medallion thanking him for his assistance and dedication.
"I really wasn't expecting this thoughtful medallion from the LAPD Underwater Dive Unit," Lerond says. "My mission was to help these divers get on the right Nutrilys Del Mar supplement program to keep their bodies in top condition since the cold ocean waters can really take a toll."

Lerond, an osteopathic practitioner, provided medical care to the French Army Special Forces.  His avant-garde techniques treated more than 800 elite soldiers in regiments such as the paratroopers, mountain troops, and combat underwater divers.
His in-depth experience is what netted the attention of the LAPD.

"The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has an Underwater Dive Unit (UDU) that regularly trains and deploys its officers in SCUBA diving related activities; Doctor Thierry Lerond, representing Nutrilys Del Mar, has conducted studies with nutrients from the ocean that have a positive effect on persons that are exposed to the cold and water environments," says David A. Mascarenas, Sergeant II of the LAPD Underwater Dive Unit.

The sergeant pointed out that Lerond offered to give members of the underwater dive unit some samples of his products in order to see if it would benefit divers in the cold waters off the California coast.

"On behalf of the UDU, I would like to thank Doctor Lerond for his interest in the health and safety of the members of the UDU," Mascarenas says.

Lerond's main supplement focus for the divers was his shark liver oil because of its impressive immune system capabilities.
Backed by 25 years of experience and rigorously tested in France and Swiss clinics, this Nutrilys product remains a powerhouse supplement.

While boosting the immune system, its other long list of benefits include enhancing strength and endurance, energy and focus, cold temperature resistance, enhanced wound healing, and improved concentration and mood.

"Like the elite soldiers I treated in France, the LAPD both on land and in the water also risk their lives every day," Lerond says.  "Along with a healthy, balanced diet they need a 'supplement shield' to maximize their performance on the job and that's why shark liver oil is crucial to their health."

Nutrilys Del Mar's shark liver oil supplements are a true ally for the body.
