Novation Supplier Diversity Program Recognized in "Best of the Best 2013" by Black EOE Journal
Date:10/1/2013

IRVING, Texas, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Novation, the leading health care supply chain expertise, analytics and contracting company, was recently honored as one of 2013's "Best of the Best" by DiversityComm, Inc.'s Black EOE Journal for its supplier diversity program.

Each year, DiversityComm, Inc. and its four diversity magazines conduct evaluations of select organizations across the country to identify the "Best of the Best" in relation to outreach and accessibility to minority populations.

"Supplier diversity not only creates new opportunities for minority-owned organizations and their local communities, it also benefits healthcare organizations by fostering the competition needed to deliver cost-effective, new products  to treat patients," said Mark Cartwright, Sr. Director, Supplier Diversity, Novation. "We are proud to be recognized for our program and our efforts to create a truly inclusive supply chain."

Novation's Supplier Diversity Program works with Diverse Suppliers — certified Minority, Woman or Veteran Business Enterprise (MWVBE) — to encourage economic development and provide its member organizations with new innovations and breakthrough technologies.  Through Novation's Supplier Diversity program, businesses receive access to support and networking opportunities which raises their visibility among hospitals and helps them to connect with prospective customers.
