Northridge Dentists, Dr. Ariz and Dr. Arami, Use Latest Technological Advances in Dentistry
Date:3/13/2013

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Farshid Ariz , Northridge dental implants specialist, and Dr. Shahad Arami , Northridge dentist, offer their patients diagnosis and treatment with the latest advances in dental equipment. Among these technologies are i-CAT technology, E4D technology, and the VELscope.

i-CAT technology provides high definition scans of the teeth and gums. This technology presents an improvement over the traditional x-ray technology because it emits less radiation, provides higher quality images, and takes less time to process. This system can also produce images at a lower cost since it is completely digitized. i-CAT technology is used by Dr. Ariz, Northridge dentist, to provide detailed images in order to make decisions about treatment.

The E4D CAM system allows Dr. Arami, Northridge dental veneers expert, to make scans of the existing teeth, gums, and bone to create restorations such as crowns, onlays, dental veneers, and dental implants. The E4D CAM system creates digital images and then sends the information electronically, allowing the restorations to be sent to the laboratory more quickly and accurately. This technology reduces or eliminates the need for time consuming dental impressions.

The VELscope is another innovation used by Dr. Ariz and Dr. Arami, Northridge cosmetic dentist. The VELscope uses an innovative blue light to illuminate the gums and soft tissues, revealing signs of oral health problems such as spots of developing oral cancer. The VELscope presents a fast and safe alternative to other disease detecting technologies, such as the use of mouth rinses and liquid dyes. The VELscope can be used in as little as two minutes and it is completely safe.

These technologies and others allow the dentists at Northridge Dental Group to perform a wide variety of dental procedures, such as placing dental implants, fitting patients with Invisalign aligners, placing porcelain dental veneers, performing a smile makeover, and teeth whitening procedures.

Dr. Ariz and Dr. Arami at Northridge Dental Group offer a variety of treatments to meet the needs of all patients.  To make an appointment or to schedule a consultation with a Northridge dentist, contact their office. Northridge Dental group is currently welcoming new patients.
