New Web Technology Now Allows for Pharmaceutical Reps to Receive Training on Their Desktops, Tablets, and Smartphones

MOUNT OLIVE, N.J., Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pinsonault Associates now offers a new option for delivering their Managed Care e-learning training modules. In the new era of "everything mobile", this cutting edge approach of how training content is delivered to pharmaceutical and biotech professionals has come at the perfect time. Now, a sales rep can begin training using an iPad in a cafe before a sales call, reference an executive summary version on that same training module using a smartphone while walking into the doctor's office, and complete the training on a desktop PC at home later that evening.

The advanced technology used to create the program template employs the latest "web standards", thus enabling it to run on a variety of systems, ranging from Internet Explorer 6 to the newest platforms, like Safari on the iPad. Pinsonault's new template integrates very well with LMS [learning management system] environments that support mobile learning. Another great feature of the new template is that the UI [user interface] and information flexes between desktops, tablets, and smartphones. For example, when users launch the new courses on an iPad, they will see that the main navigation shifts accordingly when the viewing mode changes between portrait and landscape. Or, if users view the program on a smartphone, they get an executive summary version of the course, which allows for a more efficient and intuitive navigation on a smaller device.
