New TROY SecureRx Prescription Printer Marks 50th Hospital Installation Milestone
Date:12/3/2009

COSTA MESA, Calif., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- TROY Group, Inc., a Worldwide Leader in Secure on-Demand Printing Solutions, announces the addition of the TROY 3015 SecureRx(TM) Printer to its line of secure prescription printing solutions. Based on the HP LaserJet Enterprise P3010 printer series, TROY's 3015 SecureRx(TM) Printers provide a fast 42 page per minute print speed, robust HP LaserJet workgroup printing capability and enhanced TROY prescription security features. This introduction coincides with TROY's 50th hospital system installation that employs TROY SecureRx(TM) prescription printing solutions.

Introduced in December 2008, TROY SecureRx(TM) printing solutions are now in use at many of the largest healthcare systems throughout the United States. "Hitting the mark of 50 hospitals printing prescriptions with SecureRx(TM) solutions was a major accomplishment for TROY," states Larry Landtiser, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TROY Group. "In a short period of time the TROY SecureRx(TM) solution has achieved widespread acceptance and has become the standard for CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) compliant plain paper prescriptions." As healthcare organizations continue to invest in new technologies described in the HITECH Act, TROY SecureRx(TM) solutions have also proven to be the solution of choice for modernizing prescription issuance.

Like all TROY prescription printing solutions, the TROY 3015 SecureRx(TM) printer allows health care providers to save money, improve patient care, and manage prescription fraud by printing their prescriptions with CMS mandated security features on plain laser bond paper. Unique TROY SecureRx(TM) copy, alteration and fraud prevention features are preferred by hospital pharmacy departments and pharmacies because they are easy to evaluate.

TROY now offers four different models of configured SecureRx(TM) printers with print speeds ranging from 42 to 60
