New Research Shows Promise in Using Traditional Research Methods to Assess Efficacy of Complementary Therapies

gible patients in the trial received either Traumeel S® or a placebo five times daily as a swish and swallow rinse for the treatment. Results showed Traumeel S® to be ineffective at preventing and treating mucositis in SCT patients. No adverse events were found to be related to use of the study drug.
