LONDON, January 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Optimax, the laser eye surgery specialists, this week announced an overhaul of their pricing structure throughout their UK clinics.
The revamp dispenses with the 'prescription based' price lists still widely used at many high street clinics.
In its place is a drastically simplified price list, setting out a single cost per eye for each of the vision correction procedures on offer at all Optimax clinics.
The laser eye surgery provider believes this change will make life easier for those interested in having the procedure.
"The new simplified price list means that it's now even easier to compare Optimax prices alongside those for equivalent treatments elsewhere. We are confident that our prices will compare very favourably as a result," said Optimax founder Russell Ambrose.
Founded in 1991, Optimax is a laser eye surgery specialist with 27 clinics across the UK.
It is the only specialist UK laser eye surgery clinic chain, with expertise gained from more than 350,000 treatments. Its recent GBP £5m investment in the latest technology means that more people than ever are achieving 20:20 vision.
