New England Laser Options Adds On Professional Hair Removal with the Astanza Liberty IPL System
Date:12/11/2013

GREENFIELD, Mass., Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- New England Laser Options (NELO) of Western Massachusetts has expanded their offerings with the addition of Astanza Liberty IPL hair removal treatments. The medical professionals at NELO perform a variety of non-invasive aesthetic procedures and are excited to give patients an effective solution to unwanted hair.

Hair removal is one of the most requested services at laser clinics and is popular amongst patients across many demographics. According to statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 60% of adults aged 18 to 29 want to get laser hair removal. In response to this demand, NELO is adding on IPL hair removal, which is safe for all skin tones and the most versatile technology available.

IPL  (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal systems work by producing broad-spectrum light, which heats up and destroys hair follicles. The efficacy of hair removal treatments is dependent on the intensity of the pulses of light applied to the skin. The Liberty IPL system leads the industry with greater fluence levels for better destruction of hair follicles and improved results for the patient. The Liberty IPL also features CoolFeel technology that chills the skin on contact to increase patient comfort during the procedure.

"At New England Laser Options, we are determined to offer laser treatments of unparalleled quality," said Shali Sanders, nurse practitioner and medical director of NELO. "I had been wanting to integrate hair removal into our practice for some time, but I waited until the right device came on the market. The Liberty IPL stands up to my high standards for performance, and I'm confident it will deliver excellent results for my patients."
