New 2 Hour Educational Learning Labs Will be Unveiled at Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Event in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, California, December 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

UBM Canon is pleased to announce its new series of educational Learning Labs that appeal to expo attendees across all seven co-located industry shows. The Learning Labs will focus on applying critical concepts and enabling technologies in design, manufacturing, engineering and automation across multiple industry segments including medical and packaging. The event takes place February 11-13, 2014 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

To help foster better learning outcomes the Learning Labs will break away from traditional, all-day classroom mentality by providing two hour concise and interactive sessions which will allow for more focused peer-to-peer learning, sharing of ideas and innovation showcases.  Attendees will be able to build their own schedule as they pick and choose from 30 Learning Labs over the three expo days.

Each Learning Lab will be led by industry experts who will explore technical concepts, practical case studies and new technologies to deliver solutions for current challenges. The Learning Labs program is specifically focused on the educational needs of those working in: Design, R&D, Manufacturing, Automation, Quality, Regulatory, Packaging, Supply Chain and Medical Devices.
