NYC Pain Management Specialist Talks Trigger Points

NEW YORK, Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Dr. Alexander Kulick's unique medical background gives his patients the best of conventional and non-traditional treatments. With his experience of treating thousands of NYC patients for pain management, integrative medicine and anti-aging, Dr. Kulick is spreading the word that trigger point therapy is key in treating sources of pain.

"Roughly 75 percent of patients have a trigger point as the sole source of their pain," says Dr. Kulick.

Trigger point therapy is a technique in which procaine and saline solution is injected into tender and sore body points in order to relieve pain. This therapy eliminates pain and re-educates the muscles into pain-free patterns.

"It is very important to correctively diagnose in order to effectively eliminate the pain. Combining trigger point therapy with acupuncture and Mesotherapy offers remarkable outcomes for my patients," says Dr. Kulick.

Dr. Kulicks training in ER medicine, acupuncture, mesotherapy and trigger point therapy has led him to an increasing focus on integrative approaches to pain management. He combines strong academic and clinical expertise with an open mind that is constantly seeking new approaches and alternatives to traditional treatments.
