NASP Announces 2014 EXPO at Tampa's State-of-the-Art Medical Center

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) hosts its 2014 spring meeting at the University of South Florida's Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS), a state-of-the-art facility in downtown Tampa. The meeting is scheduled for March 31 - April 4.

NASP's spring meeting, the 2014 Specialty Pharmacy EXPO, brings together leaders and decision makers from the Specialty Pharmacy industry to discuss the latest issues and trends. It offers valuable networking opportunities with colleagues and exhibitors as well as educational sessions utilizing CAMLS' virtual pharmacy and simulation-based meeting environments to host clinical and reimbursement workshops and patient interaction labs demonstrating best practices and innovative collaborative care models.

The NASP EXPO features more than 75 hours of accredited specialty pharmacy, nursing and managed care educational tracks, coupled with real world, hands-on-training scenarios (labs) and specialty pharmacy reimbursement labs. The expo will also feature NASP's unique exhibit exchange where manufacturers, payers and all stakeholders can meet with specialty pharmacy providers.

The CAMLS facility includes 90,000 square feet of meeting space that integrates simulation technology to create a unique learning and networking environment. This technology gives NASP attendees the opportunity to become fully engaged with the programming using virtual pharmacy settings and simulated site-of-care settings for interactive training in specialty therapeutic areas.
