My Own Med Selected as a Finalist for SXSW V2V's second annual V2Venture Competition

SILVER SPRING, Md., July 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- My Own Med, a mobile health connectivity platform, was selected as a finalist in SXSW V2Venture pitch competition in the Health Technologies category. The competition will take place on July 16 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

V2Venture is a fast-paced pitch event geared to take the most innovative startups through a rigorous review and rehearsal process before unleashing them on a live audience and panel of esteemed judges. Of the more than 200 companies that submitted their product or services to the V2Venture competition, My Own Med, Inc. was one of just five to be selected in the Health and Wearable Technologies category. My Own Med, Inc. will present alongside the other finalists in the Health Technologies at 1:45 pm at The Cosmopolitan.
