Mr. Robert Andrews Joins Asymchem Life Science (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. as Vice President of Quality Assurance

MORRISVILLE, N.C., March 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Asymchem Life Science (Tianjin) Co. Ltd, a leading research-based contract manufacturer of advanced intermediates and API's to the pharmaceutical industry, with sites in the U.S. and China, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Mr. Robert Andrews as Vice President of Quality Assurance as of March 1, 2011.

Mr. Andrews brings to the table over 18 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry (early and late stage), in quality assurance and quality control. Prior to Asymchem, he worked for solid dosage softgel and softlet manufacturer Banner Pharmacaps, Inc. as a part of their Global Technical Support Management at a total of five plants worldwide. Additionally, Mr. Andrews has worked in many medical and pharmaceutical enterprises in positions such as Senior Consultant of Quality Management at TSI Health Sciences, Inc and Division Quality Manager at Pridecraft Enterprises.

In his previous role, while focusing on quality management and supervision, he handled twenty US FDA, NCDA and DEA Inspections. He has offered technical support and quality management to six API plants and seven solid dosage facilities located throughout China, establishing an experienced foundation for his work coming into Asymchem.

As Vice President of Quality Assurance, Mr. Andrews will have overall responsibility for Asymchem's quality assurance program and management, improving upon Asymchem's cGMP QA management system to align and communicate with customers closely on quality issues. In addition, Mr. Andrews will be responsible for organizing and implementing training with regards to GMP and quality management throughout Asymchem.
