Montmed to Participate in 2013 Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes Conference

MONTREAL, Aug. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- SUMMARY

Montmed, a leading Canada medical device manufacturer and distributor for the global marketplace, announced today that it will be taking part in the Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes Conference to be held in Paris, France, from February 27 to March 2, 2013.  The conference is expected to attract global attention and will cover new developments and cutting-edge technologies in diabetes treatment.

Montmed, the leading medical equipment manufacturer, distributor and marketing firm in Canada, announced today that it plans to participate in next year's Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD) Conference in Paris, France.  The conference is scheduled to run from February 27 through March 2, 2013, and will feature the best and brightest scientific and medical minds in the field of diabetes research and treatment.  Scheduled topics include insulin delivery and storage systems, obesity treatments, prospects for artificial pancreas replacements, implantable devices and new medications on the horizon for diabetes patients.

This marks the sixth year for the conference and the first time it has been held in Paris.  Previous conferences have been held in Barcelona, Prague, Athens, London, and Basel, Switzerland.  The ATTD conference is widely regarded as a key learning and networking opportunity for professionals in the medical manufacturing and marketing field.  The proceedings of the ATTD Conference are published in the International Journal of Clinical Practice and are an important source of information for physicians and researchers throughout the medical and scien
