MobileMD Participates in NJ-DV HIMSS Conference, Interoperability Demo

YARDLEY, Pa., Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileMD, Inc., provider of the industry's only four dimensional health information exchange service, the 4D HIE™, is participating in the upcoming joint New Jersey and Delaware Valley Health Information Management Systems Society's (HIMSS) Conference and Interoperability Demonstration.

MobileMD will collaborate with state and regional organizations and healthcare IT vendors in a real-time demonstration of secure exchange of health information across a community. The demonstration utilizes federally designated interoperability specifications and emulates cross-community exchange that is typical of the environment in New Jersey and across the Delaware Valley.

Within the Delaware Valley alone, MobileMD connects over a dozen hospitals with physicians caring for patients in approximately 100 clinics, physician practices, and ancillary service providers with the full-service, cloud-deployed 4D HIE service.

The regional HIMSS annual meeting is September 21 to 23, 2011 in Atlantic City, N.J.
