Mise à jour sur l'état d'avancement des poursuites engagées par le Dr Rongxiang Xu contre l'Assemblée du Prix Nobel

Le Dr Xu pense que la description de l'Assemblée Nobel concernant les travaux des lauréats prêtait à confusion, dénigrait et portait atteinte à ses accomplissements scientifiques et sa réputation professionnelle, ce qui justifie la plainte déposée.

Le Dr Xu est persuadé que l'opinion publique devrait être avisée quant à la différence cruciale entre « la conversion des cellules somatiques humaines en cellules souches et la régénération des tissus physiologiques » en tant que capacité humaine innée comparativement à la capacité produite de manière artificielle par des cellules synthétiques. Les poursuites ne visent pas seulement à protéger sa science, mais il espère que cette démarche puisse également édifier l'opinion publique quant à la responsabilité de la recherche en sciences à l'égard de la facticité des connaissances. Après tout, le Prix Nobel de physiologie ou médecine représente l'orientation générale de la recherche en sciences biologiques et a un impact direct sur des vies humaines, ce qui revêt une importance capitale.
