Mise à jour sur l'état d'avancement des poursuites engagées par le Dr Rongxiang Xu contre l'Assemblée du Prix Nobel

LOS ANGELES, 11 mars 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- L'Assemblée Nobel de l'Institut Karolinska a répliqué à la poursuite en diffamation intentée le 22 février 2013 par le Dr Rongxiang Xu, en déposant un avis sollicitant le transfert du procès du tribunal de l'État à la Cour fédérale de Los Angeles.

D'après les avocats du Dr Xu, le transfert de l'affaire en cour fédérale ne devrait pas affecter le fond de l'action en justice, mais il s'agit simplement d'une démarche procédurale stratégique faite par le défendeur. En décembre 2012, le Dr Xu avait engagé des poursuites relativement à l'octroi par l'Assemblée du Prix Nobel 2012 de physiologie ou médecine.

Selon le Dr Xu, les poursuites ne visaient aucunement à ternir la réputation de l'Assemblée Nobel, mais elles avaient été intentées en partie dans le but de clarifier un malentendu fondamental concernant « la conversion des cellules somatiques humaines en cellules souches ainsi que la régénération des tissus physiologiques ». Par le biais de ses propres recherches sur la science régénérative du corps humain au cours des dernières décennies, le Dr Xu prétend avoir découvert et prouvé que cette conversion constitue une capacité innée de nos cellules, soit un phénomène naturel qu'il affirme avoir démontré à maintes reprises par le biais d'applications cli
